I am terrible at taking pictures of the process of cooking. Most of my photographs of food are usually of the end product. This is due to the fact that I cook, take a picture, and eat it all in the same mealtime. This time, I was making some yummy potato leek soup, and decided that before I added the potatoes, I would snap a quick shot of this gorgeous green leek as it sizzled with the bacon in the hot pan. The soup was devoured before I could pull out my camera 🙂
