One of the lovely things about having a backyard is that many different kinds of visitors drop in – beautiful birds and the pesky, fat squirrels. On this particular morning, we had this very inquisitive robin survey our backyard in a slow meticulous walk around the full length of the yard. I found this fascinating and pulled out my camera to take a few shots. Since then, we have also had a cardinal, and a couple of others birds I don’t recognize visit. I think a bird bath and a cute birdhouse are on my list of things to get for our backyard.
