The last couple of Sundays have been unique in that we are now participating in the Sacrament at home. It has gotten better with each Sunday. Today, we were thrilled to have Samuel join us from Virginia, and we also had Liberty, Harmony and Jeremiah, who all live in Utah, come over as well. Not to worry, our gathering was less than a group of 10 and everyone had to wash their hands before coming upstairs 🙂
Since moving here, I have tried to host a small Taylor Family FHE once a month, and it has been such a fun thing! Aaron’s siblings come over, we eat, we share testimonies, we play games, and the kids get to have some family time with their aunts and uncles. I am so grateful for this time we have with them – one of the biggest reasons for our move west! It was extra special this Sunday because we had Samuel with us.
My kids adore their Uncle Sammy, as evidenced by their faces 🙂 And, the feeling is mutual. He is a beloved part of our lives and we sorely miss him as he stayed behind in Virginia as we moved west to Utah. To have him come visit us for a week is a huge blessing during this crazy time of travel restrictions, and virulent virus spreads.
We had a wonderful Sacrament meeting together and shared testimonies and a talk, sang some hymns and had some delicious food. We love our Taylor family and I am truly grateful for their kindness and love towards my kids.
