Happy Easter! We had a wonderful Easter Sunday! A beautiful Easter program by the choir at church, friends visiting with us, a fun Easter egg hunt, some spontaneous singing and a yummy dinner at the Broughs, followed by another enthusiastic egg hunt, and a lovely devotional.
This year, as the kids are a bit older, it was great to touch upon Holy Week with them all week leading up to Easter Sunday. Teaching them that Jesus and the greatest sacrifice ever made is the reason we celebrate Easter was the highlight of the week. Spending the day with friends made it so much better 🙂
