This boy loves to “fray” things. Whether it is my glass sliding doors, or the plants, it doesn’t matter. He is happy to be spraying things. So, when I feel a tantrum is brewing or I blew my chance to catch it in time, and it is a full-blown performance, I always offer him the option to “fray” my plants. It gets him outside for some fresh air, and he gets to do what he loves, and I get my plants watered. Is that a win-win-win?
I just love him. And, I love his curls. And, I love how his face lights up the minute the water comes gushing out of the hose. He quickly starts looking for his first victim, be it a plant or a person. If it is a person, he hit the jackpot. No matter what, as long as he is “fraying”, he is happy.
