Today, I created a Facebook group called Simplify. This group was born out of a common need to take control of our lives and to eliminate clutter and chaos and make room for the important stuff. To create and design and live our best lives.
I did this scared because all I could see were the failures and what ifs. What if no one joins the group? What if I don’t put out any meaningful content? What if people don’t engage online? What if they are too vulnerable to share? Despite these fears and misgivings, I forged ahead because I felt strongly impressed that many of us, women, struggle with this concept of simplifying and are, quite frankly, overwhelmed. We don’t know where to start, so we don’t.
My sincere hope is to be able to provide the relief they seek by slowly building this community of women who encourage, support, motivate and inspire each other to conquer our mountains and envision our best lives. By addressing each aspect of our lives – physical, emotional, mental and spiritual – we can slowly chip away at the self-erected barriers we have built, and allow ourselves to be vulnerable and open in our journey to embrace life at its fullest – to find ways to create the space for the things that are most important to us.
